Through her leadership with the Hollywood Housing Authority and Community Development Advisory Board, Erin has helped support funding and recommendations for:
✓ A $550,000 expansion of the Boys & Girls Club, including a Teen Center in District 5
✓ Home repair programs that help homeowners maintain their homes and reduce insurance costs
✓ Sidewalks, parks, lighting, and other neighborhood improvements
✓ Economic development and small business growth
✓ Septic-to-sewer funding opportunities for eligible households
✓ Helped preserve affordable housing, improve housing conditions, and support the renovation of Driftwood Terrace through HUD’s RAD program, securing critical improvements for District 5 residents.

Many have shared that our area has not always received consistent attention and investment compared to other parts of the city. Erin is focused on changing that through steady presence, real follow-through, and results neighbors can see in their daily lives. Erin's policy platform is built on conversations with District 5 residents. These are our issues, and she'll champion them at City Hall.

A Neighbor Who Shows Up and Advocates for District 5
District 5 deserves a Commissioner who listens, understands our neighborhoods, and makes sure residents have a strong voice at City Hall. For more than 20 years, Erin Marvasti has been part of the fabric of this community. She has built relationships with neighbors, supported local businesses, volunteered at community events, and worked alongside residents to strengthen the neighborhoods she calls home. Erin believes community is built one connection at a time. Through efforts such as Basket of Blessings, Season of Blessings, the Mother’s Day Brunch, and Salsafest West’s Three Kings Day toy distribution, she has helped bring neighbors together, support families, and create meaningful connections throughout Hollywood. As Commissioner, Erin will remain accessible, engaged, and focused on the priorities that matter most to District 5 residents. She will continue listening, advocating, and working to ensure our neighborhoods receive the attention, resources, and investment we deserve.
